You made a wonderful decision to go camping in the beautiful state of Arizona. Arizona has some of the most spectacular vistas in the country including the Grand Canyon. To ensure that you have a nice and comfortable stay at this place, here is a complete checklist of all the things that you need to bring.

ü  Shelter – For your shelter, which will be your home away from home, you should not forget to bring a tent (1, 2-person tents or family tents), stakes, rope, poles, tarps, bedding, sleeping bag, air mattress, pump, batteries for pump, sheets, pillows, blankets, cot, and sleeping pad. Make sure you practice setting up your tent at home so that you do not have a hard time doing that when you are already in the campground. Do not forget to bring all the parts of the tent because if you miss even one part, you might not be able to make the tent stand up.

ü  Cooking and Food Equipment – Food is essential for any trip so you need to bring the following: stove, fuel for stove, pots, pans, lighter/matches, firewood, charcoal, Dutch oven, grill, spatula, tongs, pot holders, knife, can opener, aluminum foil, zip lock bags, ice cooler, trash bags, dishwashing soap, sponge for plates, plates, forks, spoons, cups, bowls, paper towels, spices, condiments, cutting board, camping tables and chairs, coffee pot, and so on. It is essential that you create a menu before your trip to Arizona so you can bring the pre-prepared ingredients at the campsite to save time in cooking.

ü  Other camping supplies – More camping equipment needed for the trip include lantern, flashlights, propane, tent heater, whistle, rope, candles, map, compass, pocket knife, binoculars, rain gear, and bungee cords. Make sure that all the camping equipment and supplies you bring for the trip are on top working condition. You wouldn’t want to be in the middle of the Arizona campground when you find out that the lantern you brought for the trip is not working.

ü  Personal Items – Clothing and toiletries such as soap, shampoo, shaving cream, toothpaste, toothbrush, toilet paper, deodorant, body washcloth, comb, sunscreen should not be forgotten. You should also bring gadgets that can make your trip more comfortable and enjoyable. Gadgets such as cell phone, GPS, camera, videocam, music player are also essential for the trip. You may also wish to bring board games, books, and any other thing to keep you occupied during the vacation.

ü  First Aid Kit – Medications for common illnesses like upset stomach, toothache, muscle pains, back aches, headaches, and so on should be included in the first aid kit. This kit should also contain antiseptic, bandages, band aids, and any other thing that can help during an emergency.

A camping supply may be big or small but whatever it is, it plays an important role in your camping trip. Make sure that you bring all the necessities with you but don’t bring the entire house so you don’t have to bring loads of things that will make your body suffer. Enjoy your trip!
